Marc Bergman, MD Orthopedic Surgeon
Marc Bergman MD is an Orthopedic Surgeon and longtime resident of Boca Raton Florida since 1991. He treats sports injuries, fractures, arthritis and general orthopedic conditions.
Dr. Bergman has performed thousands of surgical procedures over his 35-year career including complex fracture treatment, joint replacement and advanced arthroscopic surgeries. He brings vast experience and expertise to every patient encounter and is known for his outstanding reputation and conservative approach to all orthopedic conditions. He is the go-to orthopedist amongst his peers who are looking for a second opinion for themselves or their patients.
Dr. Bergman received his Medical Degree from the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine and did his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center/ King’s County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. He became the Orthopedic Trauma Director at King’s County Hospital and then the Chief of Orthopedic Surgery the Brooklyn VA Medical Center. He is currently an affiliate faculty member at the FAU Schmidt College of Medicine and was a team physician for the FAU Division 1 Athletic Teams.
Dr. Bergman was the Chief of the Orthopedic Surgery Department at Boca Raton Regional Hospital and is still an active member of the hospital’s quality control, peer review committee.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Bergman spends his time relaxing at home with his family and Murray, their Labrador retriever. He enjoys woodworking and furniture making, gardening, tennis, boating, hockey and spending time in the Berkshires.
