Rachel Roth, MMS, PA-C Physician Assistant
Rachel Roth is a General Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant and has assisted in various orthopedic surgeries, ranging from hand and total joint replacement to spine, trauma, sports medicine, and pediatrics. Rachel earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Prior to her master's degree, she achieved her Bachelor of Health Science at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL, graduating cum laude.
In her current role as Physician Assistant to Dr. Brandon Shallop, Rachel plays a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients in the busy outpatient clinic setting. She demonstrates expertise in assisting with sports medicine surgical procedures including arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, knee ACL reconstruction, AC joint reconstruction, shoulder labral repair, and more. She is also proficient in joint injections of the knee and shoulder.
Rachel holds an active State of Florida Physician Assistant License, National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification, DEA License, and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). She is also certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
In addition to Rachel’s professional commitments, her personal interests include horse-riding, baking, and running.
